For more than 100 years, the Ethics Resource Center (the 501c3 arm of the ECI) has provided research and resources to empower organizations to operate with integrity. As a nonprofit organization, we are dependent upon contributions from individuals and organizations in order to pursue our work.

The organization now known as ECI was founded as American Viewpoint; a non-partisan, non-sectarian, non-profit organization that produced numerous publications that educated citizens about the principles of democracy, the workings of government, and the need for civic engagement.
